I went for a walk with my son Elliot yesterday.
In general I find that when walking around with Elliot I spend more time looking around myself – partly to watch for any potential dangers, but also because they children take so long to get anywhere with tiny little legs.
Yesterday while wandering around our town I had so much spare time I took some photos I’ve wanted to take for years but never had the moment to do so.
Here’s the lovely stonework at the top of our old Police Station that I’ve been meaning to take a picture of for years…
…And here’s the driveway out of the supermarket car-park.
Sadly the Police Station is no longer a Police Station and has been a string of “Youth Clubs” over recent years. The current Police Station is on the outskirts of town and looks like every other faceless box that’s built these days. Totally unremarkable.
